Super Mecha Suit

The concept: a person with superpowered abilities through their computer. You sit down, and you can see further and act further than any unaided human.

Visibility — how far you can see. A super mecha suit extends your perception across data, systems, conversations, codebases, the internet. You know, because your suit lets you see. The same way a Microscope extends our visual sense to the miniscule, and a Telescope extends our visual sense to the cosmic. A Super Mecha Suit extends our senses to the computationally-possible. Semantic search across everything you’ve ever written. Live awareness of your community’s activity. The ability to ask a question and get an answer synthesized from a thousand sources you’d never manually check.

Power — what you can do with that sight. The suit has tools that let you extend your reach, to deploy code, send messages, create events, draft documents, orchestrate workflows, all from the same command station. The gap between “I see the problem” and “I fix the problem” can shrink, and the size of the problem you can see and fix will grow.

A mecha suit used to require a team of engineers to build, and was the core thing separating companies like Google and Facebook from individuals or startups. But now, one person can assemble a powerful mecha suit in a weekend.

The existence of a Mecha Suit also implies the existence of a Megazord, which is what happens when many individual mecha-suits combine, like when the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers form one giant robot by combining all their individual robots.
